How Sunflower Seeds Ukraine is Helping From the Front Range to the Frontlines

A recent Russian bombing of a Ukrainian dam and a massive heat wave sweeping across Europe have complicated the already difficult wartime conditions in Ukraine. Sunflower Seeds Ukraine, a Boulder-based non-profit, is hosting its second annual Dine Out for Ukraine fundraiser at restaurants across the Front Range. KGNU’s Jacob Agatston spoke with Natalie Condon, a Ukrainian-American volunteer with Sunflower Seeds Ukraine, who says medical and protective gear is needed more than ever.
