Hickenlooper’s Chief of Staff resigns

Chief of Staff Doug Friednash is the latest to exit the administration. Three other cabinet members left this fall – including the heads of the Department of Transportation, Department of Labor and Employment, and the head of the agency that oversees Medicaid. Over the summer the head of the Department of Revenue and Department of Regulatory Agencies both left. Hickenlooper – who is term limited-  says it’s to be expected given that they will all be out of jobs soon. He says he will work to fill positions quickly since he’s about to begin his final legislative session as Governor.
