Hemispheres: Steve Fisher & Maxine Burkett

Tonight on Hemispheres, Elena Klaver hosts two discussions.

First, she spoke with Steve Fisher, a journalist at the University of California at Berkeley School of Journalism.  He is the co-author, along with Anabel Hernandez, of a series of articles on the Mexican government’s complicity in the disappearance of 43 students at a teacher’s college in Ayotzinapa, Guerrero, Mexico, as well as other mass disappearances.  Anabel Hernandez is the award winning Mexican journalist who wrote Los Señores del Narco, published in English as Narcoland.
