Outsources: Halloween with a Queer Spin! – Marlon Reis

Marlon Reis is the Halloween Czar of the night. He joins host Karen Raforth for a walk down creaky stairs of the past to examine this fun holiday!

Marlon Reis is a fiction writer and serious Halloween enthusiast. He was born and raised in Boulder, but now spends his time between his hometown and Washington, DC, where his partner serves in the U.S. House of Representatives. His interests include Romantic-Era literature and poetry, animal rights and welfare issues, and anything that goes bump in the night!

Listen to music, poetry and discussion about the history of Halloween, why Halloween is important to the LGBTQ community, how Marlon celebrates with elaborate, scripted, literary events, what these Edgar Allen Poe poems mean to him and more.
