Green Party Candidate for US Senate Race

“We live in a corporate totalitarianism right now where the candidates who are put up for both the Republicans or Democrats, are more or less already chosen by the billions of dollars put into the campaigns.”

Arn Menconi is a self-described lifelong Democrat and former Eagle County Commissioner. He is currently running as the Green Party Candidate challenging US Senator Michael Bennet this November. Menconi says he’s seen first-hand, inside a major party machine, and how it works in favor of the two party system “you notice how favorable the world treats you when you’re a member of an established party.”

Menconi says he left the Democratic Party and joined the Green Party because of the corporate influence over the political system. “We live in a corporate totalitarianism right now where the candidates who are put up for both the Republicans or Democrats, are more or less already chosen by the billions of dollars put into the campaigns.”

Menconi says he supports Universal Health Care, opposes fracking (and would support a state-wide ban on it) and is firmly opposed to the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP.) Find out more about his campaign and platform here.
