Radio Nibbles: A Local Foodie Throwback Thursday

On this episode of Radio Nibbles, Maeve Conran and food critic John Lehndorff discuss the “Chautauqua Porches” cookbook and the glimpse into the past that it provides.

Another view into the past is Laura Bloom’s website www.servingboulderlist.com that lists Boulder restaurants based on where they were located. Lehndorff remembers some of them and a recipe by Mork from Ork.

Things get wrapped up with a tasting of Helliemae’s hand crafted artisan candies.

John Lehndorff is the former food editor at the Daily Camera, dining critic for the Rocky Mountain News, and Chief Judge at the National Pie Championships, now back in print in the Boulder Weekly.
