Florida Group Known For Campaigns To Ban LGTBQ Books, “Moms For Liberty,” Has New Boulder County Branch

Since the height of the pandemic, some ideologically right-wing groups have honed in on school boards and running campaigns to remove books from library shelves. One of those groups, “Mom’s For Liberty,” recently set up shop in Boulder County. Claire Woodcock, a local researcher, and reporter, who has been covering the book ban push joined KGNU News Director, Shannon Young, to tell us more.
