Edge Theater Brings Tense Classic A View From the Bridge to the Stage

While the holiday season is in full swing throughout the Denver theater community, The Edge Theater in Denver wanted to do something a little different this December. Instead of bringing a holiday classic to their stage on west Colfax, the Edge is now featuring the smoldering and tense drama, “A View from the Bridge”, a dark and stunning classic by famed playwright Arthur Miller.

Taking place in mid-50’s Brooklyn, “A View from the Bridge” is a brooding peek into an Italian-American family plagued by love, jealousy, power struggles and denial as the family patriarch, Eddie, struggles with an uncomfortable obsession with his niece Catherine and the family’s spiral into betrayal and murder.

KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo spoke toRick Yaconis, the Executive and Artistic Director of the Edge Theater. He is also playing Eddie, the family patriarch in “A View from the Bridge.”
