Dot Org: Trail Guide Volunteers

The City of Boulder Open Space & Mountain Parks is recruiting volunteers to act as guides on trails around the city. Brian Litwin, a Ranger and Naturalist with the City of Boulder, says that volunteers hike the trails and help to enhance the visitors experience “they provide information on area features, natural and cultural history and have helped keep an eye on the land since 1991.”
Volunteers also assist those in need, and serve as extra “eyes and ears” on the system. They receive 10 hours of training and continuing education. Applications are being taken until early March.
