Dot Org: Teens Inc

In 1997 TEENS, Inc. was granted its 501(c)(3) status and formally took over youth services from the Town of Nederland. With a dedicated board of directors and committed group of teens, TEENS, Inc. raised one million dollars and on January 2, 2000 opened a 6800 square foot facility for youth to socialize, form strong relationships with caring adults, develop healthy self-esteem and master the leadership, academic and job related skills they need to become constructive and productive members of society.
