The Presbyterian Manor opened in 1963 as a non-profit apartment building for persons of retirement age. In “1960” a group from the First Presbyterian Church of Boulder met with their pastor to discuss the purchase of Menlo Park for senior housing. A non-profit corporation was formed called Presbyterian Manor and plans were drawn to build a brick building high enough to accommodate 80 apartments for seniors.
