The mission of Food For Thought – Denver is the elimination of weekend hunger in Denver’s Title 1 elementary schools. By providing a Powersack to each child in the school each week, they hope to assure that no child goes hungry over the weekend.
On Saturday, November 4th, they are holding a fundraiser in Turnhalle on the Metro State Campus. The Fundraiser Rock-a-Belly includes tastings from Denver’s top restaurants, breweries, and distilleries as well as live music by Chris Daniels and the Kings and the Hazel Miller Band.
