KGNU host Cathy Frazier chats with Alberto Mendoza, director of Circles. He describes this Boulder County program who works to end poverty one family at a time. After a family completes an application process and class. Circles connects them with volunteers who help the family work to out of poverty through self-reliance, or get well on the way to it. They work with their two allies for 18 months.
