The Atomic Film Series is a project of the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center. Chris Allred with the RMPJC says the series is an educational event and outreach for the activism done by the Nuclear Guardianship program.
On Thursday February 13 from 7-9pm, the series will screen Prometheus, Ridley Scott’s prequel to the Alien series. This event is free and open to the public and will be followed by a discussion about the existential themes raised in the film such as advanced civilizations, the origin of life on earth and the threat posed by weapons of mass destruction.
