Dog Dance Brings Spontaneous, Improvised Dance Performances to Floorspace

Joanna Rotkin, is a dancer who, through her use of interpretive and improvisational dance, explores the truth about the body. Her latest project is Dog Dance–a monthly, hour-long, fully improvised dance performance at Floorspace in Boulder. The Next Dog Dance is Friday, July 21 at 7 p.m. Earlier, she stopped by the KGNU Boulder studio and explained Dog Dance and the prep work and process that she undergoes to create a wholly brand new work every time.
