Mathieu D’Ordine

Cellist Mathieu D’Ordine is a devoted interpreter of a wide variety of music from the last four centuries of the Western canon including music from current composers all the way back to Gabrielli and Monteverdi. He also has the privilege of having two remarkable pieces dedicated to him by acclaimed composer Anthony R. Green: "...on top of a frosted hill..." (2011) and Colorful Open Space (2023). Mathieu has been playing chamber music with Dr. Sarah Off for many years, and they decided to join forces as the duo Old Machines - named after an inspired piece by Dylan Fixmer.
