Democracy Spring Events Continue in DC

WASHINGTON-A broad coalition of organizations brought their demands to the nation’s capital.  The group called for the end to corruption of big money in politics and to ensure free and fair elections that give each voter an equal voice.

Little media coverage has been done to cover one of the largest actions in recent US history.  Thousands showed up to the US Capital to raise their voices against corporate influence in elections, corruption, the lack of democracy in the country, and climate change.
Over a thousand were arrested, about 200 per day.   More are expected today.
