Singer-songwriter Cris Williamson speaks with Karen Raforth, celebrating and reflecting on the album “50 years of The Changer and The Changed” – cited by NPR as one of the top 150 albums of all time by female artists on Turning the Tables.
Cris received a lifetime achievement award from the Americana Music Association. Cris reflects on her history with being key in the women’s music movement, the award-winning album, and her 2025 album, Ravens and Roses.

Cris Williamson: The Changer and the Changed KGNU
Cris has released 33 albums, continued streaming monthly solo acoustic concerts on her Facebook page, blogged thoughtfully on many topics, and given songwriting workshops and concerts nationally. Throughout she remains committed to joyful disobedience and love. KGNU is presenting Cris at Swallow Hill on May 18.
