22 news organizations around the state are collaborating in an historic reporting project – chronicling the lives of every day Coloradoans living through the pandemic.
Laura Frank, who is serving as the leader of the Colorado News Collaborative Project called COVID Diaries Colorado, says that several news organizations throughout Colorado have been having conversations for months on how to work together collaboratively to better serve the public.
“The pandemic actually accelerated the work and we realized that what we needed to do was right now and the public needed information and all of us in the state were struggling to understand the state wide impacts, the big picture of this, and so that’s what we attempted to do with this day of collaborative reporting.”
