Colorado’s population is growing

The population of Colorado is over 5 million right now, and it’s projected to grow…and grow and reach well over seven million by 2040 with much of that population growth happening on the Front Range. Elizabeth Garner, the state demographer says that we’re seeing a much younger population migrating to the Front Range than to other states.

“It attracts a younger population, primarily between the ages of 23 and 37.  All other age groups tend to be greatly diminished to flat.”
