The Colorado Tango Weekend (April 18 – 20) will be happening in both Denver and Boulder and will feature Tango artist Oliver Kolker. He’s in town from Argentina to teach several workshops, host some milongas and most importantly, on Sunday afternoon at the Avalon Ballroom in Boulder, he’ll be screening his latest film, a fictional narrative called “I Had the Heart”, which at its heart, is a story about tango, and the tango community.
KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo had an opportunity to speak with organizer Marlena Rich, and Oliver Kolker about the film, and about this weekend.
