Colorado Independent Women of Film Festival Premiers June 12th

Starting Friday, June 12th. the Colorado Independent Women of Film Festival will be taking over the Bug Theater in Denver. As part of the Emerging Filmmaker’s Project, the CIWF strives to highlight the great work that women filmmakers produce in Colorado, provide a community of opportunities and support for women filmmakers as well as challenge the perception of what a film produced by women is supposed to be. KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo spoke with filmmaker and festival organizer Eileen Agosta about the festival and the importance of a supportive community.
