The Colorado Family Project: Family histories of bipolar disorder

The Colorado Family Project is a lab based at the University of Colorado Boulder’s Department of Psychology and Neuroscience.  Researchers there have been looking at non medication treatments for bi- polar disorder.  They are hoping to recruit up to 50 families which researchers will follow over the next 3 or 4 years to study the effectiveness of family treatment for youth with mood swings who have a family history of bipolar disorder.  We hear from Dawn Taylor, one of the researchers involved.
