Colorado County Commissioners Accused of Ethics Violations in Natural Gas Project

In the Guardian US edition published on August 21st, journalist Will Parrish wrote about how county commissioners from Colorado traveled to Washington DC in March to meet with Interior Secretary David Bernhardt and a lobbyist for the Jordan Cove Project.

The proposed Jordan Cove Energy Project links Colorado to the west coast. It is a proposed facility in southwest Oregon that would provide an outlet to overseas markets for natural gas extracted in western Colorado and it has been the subject of protest in Oregon and Colorado.

KDNK’s Amy Hadden Marsh spoke with journalist Will Parrish about the meeting and possible ethics violations.
