Cold Springs Fire 100% Contained

Friday 7/15/16: The Cold Springs Fire is now 100% contained, the last evacuees returned home on Thursday evening.

The fire perimeter area needs to stay closed today for the following activities:

Firefighting activities which include Mop up and securing fire lines.

Xcel Energy will be flying in power poles today by helicopter, starting around 12 pm to restore power to the burn area

Roadblocks will continue at:
   Cold Springs at Peak to Peak
Ridge Road at Hurricane Hill
Cold Springs/Ridge Road
Cold Springs/Thunder Ridge
Boulder Canyon/Summer Access

All areas should be open for residents to return home at 8 p.m., and law enforcement will maintain a presence in the area over night in case residents need assistance.
