Travis Madsen with Environment Colorado says that are major implications for public health due to a warming planet. He points to recent deaths in India due to extreme heat and increased rates of asthma and respiratory ailments in the US due to degraded air quality.

Madsen will join a panel of public health professionals and elected officials at a panel discussion on public health and climate change happening on Tuesday June 23rd at 11am at Denver University, Boettcher Auditorium, Room 103, 2050 E. Iliff Avenue.
