The Civic Action Calendar is a weekly summary of actions and events hosted by community-based organizations across the Front Range.

Thursday, May 7 at 2:30 p.m.

Indivisible Table Mountain will hold a weekly demonstration in Golden they call “Standing For: a rally against injustice.” At this weekly event, attendees form a line on the sidewalk spreading from Washington Ave and 10th St. More info at indivisibletablemountain.com.

Thursday, May 7 from 6-8 p.m.

Coloradans for The Common Good and GES Coalition will hold a gathering for a joint community response to data centers in Denver. This will be a discussion on surveillance technology and the growth of data centers in the metro area, including environmental and privacy concerns. The event is being held at the Geotech environmental center at 2650 E 40th Ave. in Denver. More info at instagram.com/gescoalition.

Thursday, May 7 at 6:30 p.m.

The Colorado League of Women Voters Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion task force presents a talk by Austin Montoya about Ballot Initiatives #109 and #110. A videoconference discussion about Ballot Initiatives #109 “Male and Female Participation in School Sports,” and #110 “Prohibit Certain Surgeries on Minors,” which have both qualified for the 2026 General Election ballot. Austin Montoya is political director of the Families Not Politics campaign by One Colorado, an LGBTQ+ advocacy organization based in Denver. More information at LWVCO.clubexpress.com.

 

Saturday, May 9 from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Indivisible will hold a visibility event at the Boulder Home Depot to protest their working with ICE. The group will be at the northwest corner of Arapahoe and 30th in Boulder. More information at mobilize.us/indivisiblewestmetro.

Saturday, May 9 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

SoBoCo indivisible will be holding a visibility event in Superior at the Tesla dealership between McCaslin and Marshall roads

Tuesday, May 12 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.

Rocky Mountain Equality will host Plant and Paint at Rolland Moore Park in Fort Collins. They invite adults 18+ to a welcoming, substance-free space made for the LGBTQ+ community to paint pots, pot plants, and enjoy the outdoors. They will provide all supplies. More info at RMequality.org.

Wednesday, May 13 from 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.

Rocky Mountain Equality will host Calm and Connection: an LGBTQ+ wellness breakfast for those age 50 and older, at their Boulder center. The event will include breakfast, a mindfulness session with healthy aging specialist Kara Traikoff, and resources for LGBTQ+ older adults. That’s at the Equality Center of the Rocky Mountains, 3340 Mitchell Ln in Boulder. More info at RMequality.org.
