1 in 10 Colorado Children Are Food Insecure

Next Thursday Feed the Children, Boulder Voices for Children, and several CO natural products brands are partnering to provide 400 local kids and their families with backpacks containing school supplies, food, and hygiene products. KGNU’s Alexis Kenyon sat down with Wendy Henderson, a senior director of corporate partnerships who says with federal COVID-era Snap benefits ending earlier this year and increased costs of living, more families are finding themselves wondering where they will get their next meal.
