Scott Rashid is an Estes Park-based bird rehabilitator, artist, researcher, and writer. He is the founder and director of CARRI, the Colorado Avian Rehabilitation and Research Institute, CARRI builds and distributes nest boxes for owls and other cavity nesting birds of prey, bands birds, does research, and rehabilitation for injured birds. KGNU’s Elena interviewed Scott about his diverse work with birds and education.
