Boulder Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, founder of Jewish Renewal Movement, Dies at 89

Boulder Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi, who founded the Jewish Renewal movement, died this morning at his home. Schachter-Shalomi, also known as Reb Zalman, was 89.  He was the subject of a recent book by Boulder based, New York Times best-selling author Sara Davidson: The December Project: An Extraordinary Rabbi (Reb Zalman Schachter-Shalomi).  Davidson spoke about the book and her relationship with Reb Zalman with KGNU’s Duncan Campbell in April. http://www.kgnu.org/livingdialogues/4/20/2014
