Trade ministers from 12 countries negotiating the Trans Pacific Partnership, are due to meet in Beijing ahead of the Asia-Pacific economic summit next week.
Efforts by activists who oppose the TPP are ramping up as the trade deal reaches the final negotiation stage. There is a protest planned at the Boulder office Congressman Jared Polis on Friday November 7th at noon, calling on him to take a position against the TPP and particularly against attempts to Fast Track the deal. Carolyn Bninski with the Rocky Mountain Peace and Justice Center and Dave Felice, a tel-communications union leader in Denver explain their concerns over the TPP.
