The Boulder County Disaster Assistance Center closed on Saturday, January 22, as the County response shifts to longer term recovery in the aftermath of the Marshall Fire. Those who have been displaced or otherwise impacted by the Marshall Fire will still be able to get assistance and information online at https://www.bouldercounty.org/disasters/wildfires/marshall/
The Boulder County Call Center’s last day for the Marshall Fire was Jan. 21 at 3 p.m. Please call 211 for non-emergency assistance.

Resources are emerging as local agencies, nonprofits, community organizations & groups, and neighborhoods organize to offer support to the thousands of families impacted by the Marshall Fire.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to all of the Boulder County community members impacted by the fires as we learn that nearly 1000 homes and businesses were destroyed. Please refer to the resources below for additional and up-to-date information from the Boulder Organization of Emergency Management and other local entities working to quickly respond to the fires and to support those affected.
New DAC Hours: Beginning Saturday, Jan. 15, the Disaster Assistance Center for the #MarshallFire, located at 1755 South Public Road in Lafayette, will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week. - The public information map provided by Boulder OEM has up to information on Re-Entry areas as well as current road and neighborhood closures, hotspots, and other important information in regards to shelters and areas with limited access. An address search is available on the site to see if you can return to your neighborhood. Please refer to the Official Public Information Map.
CFBC Wildfire Fund
- The Community Foundation Boulder County has activated its Wildfire fund to help with community needs as they emerge. At this time, nearly 1000 homes and businesses have been destroyed. More information here.
Volunteer
- Sister Carmen Community Center is providing invaluable services for those affected by the East Boulder County fires, please refer to their Facebook page on how to donate or volunteer.
- The YMCA of Northern Colorado located at 2800 Dagny Way in Lafayette has been serving as a shelter and distributing many important supplies to evacuees. Please refer to their Facebook Page on current support and volunteer needs.

- Consult your local community groups. Please check with your trusted local nonprofits, neighborhood, church groups to find out other relief efforts led by local community partners.

BVSD Resources
- BVSD established a Boulder County Fires Website with many good resources to support families, students, teachers, and employees impacted by the fires.
- BVSD’s Trauma Support Team has been activated and will be working to offer support to students virtually in the coming days. If you know of a student who needs support during this difficult time, please let them know through this Google Form.
- For those directly impacted needing federal support, FEMA put out a press release with important information on applying for disaster assistance and has opened up applications for federal support.
