The Boulder Code Academy is a new organization that is looking to help people learn how to code and create websites in a way that is accessible, fun, and affordable. Recently, KGNU’s Julia Caulfield spoke with the company founders about the project. We hear from Brenden Nackerman, Sarah Iverson and Ezra Huscher on this new worker cooperative enterprise that is targeted largely at non-profit organizations and low-income communities, which have often been excluded from these type of trainings due to cost. Boulder Code Academy operates on a sliding scale and reserves places for people who cannot afford to pay anything.
