Booktalk: Novelist John Larison’s “Whiskey When We’re Dry”

John Larison is the author of Whiskey When We’re Dry, his debut book of historical fiction.

It’s an epic story of 17-year-old Jessilyn Harney who disguises herself as a boy and heads west to find her infamous outlaw brother, Noah. In some ways, this book is a modern tale though it takes place in the American West of the 1880’s.
