In her fifth biography Doris focuses on the friendship and eventual falling out of Presidents Teddy Roosevelt and William Howard Taft while describing the dynamic history of the first decade of the 20th century. The title refers to Roosevelt’s powers of persuasion and his ability to work closely with the press – a presidential first.
