The Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company premiers their latest production, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” at the Dairy Arts Center on Saturday, April 27th.
A stage adaptation of a 2003 novel of the same name, the show is an imaginative story of fifteen-year-old Christopher Boone, a neurodiverse teen who has an extraordinary mind, but is less well equipped to deal with the challenges of everyday life. When falsely accused of killing his neighbor’s dog, he sets out to find the true culprit. His journey across London leads to an earth-shattering discovery that will change his life forever. The show opens April 27th and through May 19th.
KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo spoke with Producing Artistic Director, and Director for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time” Stephen Weitz about the ambitious technical elements and the imagination to make this show both work and shine.
