Boulder Is Getting Old

Boulder is getting older. Over the next two decades, the number of people over the age of 80 will grow more than 244% in Boulder county while population numbers for almost every other age group under 65 will decline. KGNU’s Alexis Kenyon spoke with Elizabeth Garner, the state’s demographer who says Boulder’s over-65 population is some of the fastest-growing in the country.
