Americas Latino Eco-Festival: The Colorado River

Maeve Conran spoke with Jorge Figueroa and Kendra Sandoval about the Colorado River’s history, its impact on agriculture, and recent efforts restoring its flow into the Sea of Cortez. They’ll both be speaking at this weekend’s Americas Latino Eco-Festival.

The Americas Latino Eco-Festival “showcases the arts and sciences as agents for social and environmental justice reconciling peoples and places for a sustainable future and uniting communities across social, economic, cultural, and historical divides.” It’s in Boulder From Sept 11-16 in Boulder.
