To understand her migration pattern via radio tracking, the author Alan Tennant and a buddy took off in a rattletrap Cessna in pursuit. They discovered from Texas to the Arctic back down to the Caribbean, it’s not so easy to follow a bird that can reach speeds of 200 mph in a dive.
