KGNU’s Kendra Kreuger spoke with the co-directors of the RMSA, Belle Starr and Bill McDorman.

McDorman says seed companies now own 60% of the worlds seeds. He says those involved in the local food movement should also be involved in saving local seeds.

On Saturday, August 23 in Boulder, the Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance will be hosting “Seed School in a Day“, a workshop covering the science, craft, and history of seed saving.
