Celebrating its 38th anniversary, this event is a family-friendly mini-festival of Bluegrass and Americana music. It targets music lovers who relish the fresh mountain air and like to listen to stellar acoustic music in a spectacular outdoor setting that only a former Colorado mining town like Gold Hill can provide. This event was formerly known as the “Charles Sawtelle Memorial Mtn Jam”, in honor of the legendary and founding guitar player of Hot Rize who co-founded the event in 1989.
This event is a benefit for KGNU, your independent community-powered, listener-supported community radio station, broadcasting since 1978.
