International Women’s Day celebrations in Denver included a performance by jazz vocalist Linda Theus-Lee, who appeared at Dazzle Denver with a 17-piece band. Theus-Lee is a longtime figure in Denver’s jazz community and a professor at the University of Colorado Denver, with a career that has taken her to stages around the world, including performances in Seoul.

In addition to performing, Theus-Lee has spent years teaching and mentoring students while helping preserve and expand the tradition of jazz.
