KGNU’s Aramis Loma Guzman sat down with host Abby O’Brien to discuss Colorado’s Olympians, the Nuggets’ rocky season, and local soccer and football news.

Colorado sent 32 athletes to the Winter Olympics — the highest number of any state. Nine gold medals were brought home by notable athletes like Mikaela Shiffrin, Alex Ferreira, and Elizabeth Lemley. Eight players from the Colorado Avalanche competed in this year’s Winter Olympics, with four medaling.

The Denver Nuggets return to the court tonight after the All-Star break. Key players, like Nikola Jokic, have expressed concern following a rocky start to the season and multiple injuries. The Colorado Rapids soccer team played the Seattle Sounders last Sunday and lost 0-2. They play Portland this Saturday, Feb. 28. Aramis also discussed coaching developments within the Denver Broncos.
