Radio Bookclub: Lessons in Chemistry

The October selection for the Radio Bookclub is Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus.

Set in the late 1950s and early 1960s, the novel follows Elizabeth Zott, a scientist who faces misogyny in her research career and ultimately becomes the host of a TV cooking show, Supper at Six, inspiring countless women. This episode was recorded in front of a live audience at the Boulder Public Library on September 26, 2024, as part of the Boulder Library Foundation’s 50-year gala celebration.

This episode was broadcast on KGNU on Thursday October 24 at 9.00am.
