How We Die Matters: The Complexity of Physician Aid in Dying

Kim Mooney of Practically Dying joins Jean Abbott, a physician and bio-ethicist and Jennifer Ballentine, a bio-ethicist with 20 years of hospice experience for a discussion on the complexity of physician aid in dying.

Throughout history and different cultures, the value of life and death has changed.  Today we face complicated end-of-life questions that require more than a simple yes or no answer.  The Colorado state legislature may take up another physician aid in dying bill in the 2016 session. Previous efforts, like the 2015 Death With Dignity bill, have been defeated.
