Those who say they have experienced violence at the hands of border patrol along the US Mexico/Border held a 48-hour vigil near the border to join together in raising awareness. They want the public to know that border patrol violence is on the increase and that alleged abuse has met impunity.

In continuing our series on Elections 2014 we hear the speech of Andrew Romanoff who is seeking a US House seat in District 6.

On April 20, 1914, sixty-six striking mineworkers and their families were killed in Southern Colorado.  100-year commemoration events have been taking place and on the April 20, 2014 event at the Ludlow site, Bob Butero, Director of the local chapter of United Mineworkers of America Region 4 spoke to KGNU.  Here we continue our series of the Ludlow Massacre events.

A state minimum wage measure passed last month and we hear what some who did the work to increase the minimum wage accomplished in the effort to see it through.

Speech writer and friend of Dr. Martin Luther King, Vincent Harding passed away last week and we hear an excerpt from the last recording that KGNU has of one of his last public appearances.

Fast food workers went on strike across the globe and we hear about Denver’s action for worker rights.

And Douglas County parents took their kids out of school on Tuesday to march to the school district office to deliver their list of demands.
