Those who say they have experienced violence at the hands of border patrol along the US Mexico/Border held a 48-hour vigil near the border to join together in raising awareness. They want the public to know that border patrol violence is on the increase and that alleged abuse has met impunity.

On April 20, 1914, sixty-six striking mineworkers and their families were killed in Southern Colorado.  100-year commemoration events have been taking place and on the April 20, 2014 event at the Ludlow site, Bob Butero, Director of the local chapter of United Mineworkers of America Region 4 spoke to KGNU.  Here we continue our series of the Ludlow Massacre events.
