2019 Global Climate Strikes – Find Out Where They Are in Colorado

On September 20, three days before the UN Climate Summit in NYC, young people and adults will strike all across the US and world to demand transformative action be taken to address the climate crisis. Millions of people will take the streets to demand a right to a future. Julia Williams of 350Colorado.org says events are planned across Colorado leading with a mass march starting at 11am at Union Station in Denver, followed by a march to the state capitol.

“We have at least a dozen other strikes that are happening across Colorado from Fort Collins, Grand Junction to Durango, so really this strike is hitting every corner of Colorado at this point and new strikes are popping up every day so there is a lot of momentum that’s really building around this Friday launch to this climate strike week of action.”
