Presented as part of the 5th Annual Denver Fringe Festival, “The Bluebird” is a wordless journey of dreams and dreamers. Inspired by Charles Bukowski’s evocative poem “The Bluebird” and the experiences of innumerable migrants who have left their homes for other lands, the show weaves pantomime and physical comedy to transcend linguistic barriers and deliver a poignant narrative of the immigrant experience. Created and performed by Buba Basishvili, co-founder of Theatre Artibus, who was a lead performer with the Republic of Georgia State Pantomime Theater for over 15 years before immigrating to the United States. Two performances only at the Savoy Denver on Saturday, June 8, 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 9, 7:00 p.m.
