Join the Flatirons Food Film Festival and Meals on Wheels Boulder for Reels for Meals: The Taste of Things Movie Fundraiser, a night of food, film, and fun on Thursday, July 18th at eTown Hall (1535 Spruce Street) in Boulder.
Featuring “The Taste of Things,” a French film feast starring Juliette Binoche, Reels for Meals consists of the following events to support these 501c3 nonprofits.
Enjoy:
Soiree at 5pm with bites from top Boulder restaurants, cash bar, and reserved seats for the film screening
General admission for the screening at 6:30pm of this 2024 culinary classic film
Omelet-making demonstration
Post-film panel discussion at 9pm for all attendees with food journalist John Lehndorff of Boulder Weekly and KGNU Community Radio; French native Julien Jeannot, Executive Chef and owner of Jeannot Patisserie and Bistro in Lafayette, Colorado; and other speakers after the screening.

“The Taste of Things” is a feature film that depicts the love affair between a French gourmand and the expert cook who is his muse. Set in 1889 and starring Juliette Binoche, the movie includes mouth-watering sumptuous scenes of culinary artistry. An appreciation of food’s transcendence permeates this food cinema classic,” France’s nominee for the 2024 Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
