Emmy nominated recording artist, Nina Storey, brings her one-of-a-kind soulful sound back to Swallow Hill for an evening of unforgettable, electrifying music.
Nina Storey has been making waves having opened for other powerhouse female performers like Sara Bareilles, Rachel Platten, Milck, and Hailey Reinhart, as well as performing in numerous international festivals, such as the Montreal Jazz Festival and the New Orleans JazzFest. People Magazine wrote, “With a voice like hers, pyrotechnics are redundant.”.
Nina Storey’s voice and music have appeared in many national commercials for brands like Nissan, AT&T, Ford, Kellogg’s, Pepsi, Coke, and Heineken, as well as major television programs like the CW’s “Riverdale”, FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance”, the CW’s “My Crazy ExGirlfriend”, NBC’s “Days of Our Lives”, Dreamworks Animation, “Rhyme Time Town”, and feature films such as “American Girl”, and “The Broken Hearts Club”.
As a queer artist, she has always advocated for awareness and visibility in her art. And as a Long Covid survivor, Nina Storey has begun working for advocacy for all those still living with debilitating effects of the virus. Her identifiably unique sound is both timeless and hopeful, and is reflective of her experiences turning pain into purpose and celebration.
